
Ebony Holdings Pvt Ltd and its Apparel brand Vantage are looking for a mega expansion drive overseas to Europe, Gulf and selected Asian countries when the pandemic settles.
An undisputed leader in men’s fashion apparel in Sri Lanka, Ebony Holdings has remained innovative and fashionable for over two decades, spearheading the promise of the Sri Lankan apparel industry. “We have received many requests from overseas clients and buyers to make our products available to them and we will commence exports soon, taking 100% Sri Lankan brand to the global market,” Managing Director, Raseen Raheem, said.
“We hold over 14% of market share for our range of products due to our style, design and quality which is driven towards innovation. Now we look to the future with a view of achieving international success as well.”
He said that moving with the new trends they hope to launch one line sales soon and a payment gateway has already been formulated.
Commenting on their future expansion he said in a bid to make locals buy Sri Lankan products they will introduce a kids and also youth segment (for school children) range.
Their products are manufactured to precession at their three factories in Kurunegala which employs over 2,000.
Throughout history, Ebony Holdings has adhered to the highest standards of quality through the use of latest technology and produced fashionable clothing on par with international standards.
Ebony holdings was the first company to come forward to stitch protective masks and offer them free of charge to frontline health workers and armed forces who were battling against the Covid pandemic.
As a part of another CSR initiative Ebony Holdings is also engaged in the beautifications of Colombo Fort Railway station and lighting up the signage of the station.
Chairman, Ebony Holdings, Rasmy Raheem said that they see tremendous potential for Football for the future and became the title sponsor of the Vantage FFSL Presidents Cup 2020, the biggest tournament during the past two years consecutively.
Football is played in more than 180+ countries and locally more than 1,000 Football clubs are active on different scales.
