Ataraxia Capital Partners launched ‘My Dentist’, latest and one-of-its-kind chain of dental clinics with the aim of advancing dental care with high-tech infrastructure.
My Dentist Ltd. is formed with major share-holding company Ataraxia Capital Partners in collaboration with Michel Casselman, CEO of PMV – a Belgian fund and the professional expertise of Dr. Asoka Amunugama and Dr. George Dias.
The newest clinic is equipped with the skills to respond to the changing oral health needs and services for patients. Situated at Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7 with ample parking facilities, it is the first-of-its-kind in Sri Lanka that can boast of an expansion plan of installing a chain of My Dentist clinics in strategic locations across the country, all of which deliver a mixture of clinical services and cosmetic dentistry that is fundamental to the future of dental healthcare.
The face of dental healthcare internationally has changed dramatically in the last decade. Innovations in technology and advanced dental techniques have led to continued improvement in dental health; and My Dentist is proposed to provide its patients with all these latest innovations. Having invested extensively in the project, the company plans to expand into a chain of clinics.
The company’s strategic drivers are: Affordable care through payment solutions and instalment payment schemes, a team of two to three in-house dentists aided by a trained and efficient nursing staff, a panel of dental specialists that can be channelled with ease, use of modern restoration instruments with the highest level of sterilisation techniques and international standards as required by the WHO, use of digital X-Rays which reduces patient radiation exposure by up to 90%, five operating rooms which saves waiting time for patients, local patients and tourists who use My Dentist services can go for follow up visits to any of the proposed chain of hospitals to avoid travelling back to Colombo for treatment and ethical practices where invoicing for services with no inflated or duplicated charges to patients.
