Sri Lankan domestic airline operator FitsAir, resumed scheduled domestic flights to and from Batticaloa after the COVID-19 lockdown. “The operation to Batticaloa would be twice a week on Monday and Friday from the Colombo International Airport, Ratmalana,” an official from the airline said. Currently it operates scheduled passenger service within Sri Lanka, as well as international cargo flights to several cities in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa and also operates charter flights to India as well.
“We are awaiting the green light to operate flights to Palali Jaffna.”
