Spa Ceylon one of the world’s largest Ayurveda Wellness chain, was a major winner at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2019 in St Petersburg, Russia, bagging four international awards.
Recognized for excellence in their field of speciality, the brand was once again awarded the ‘Global Award for Best Luxury Ayurveda Spa’. Considering the group’s international presence they also won the ‘Global Award for Best Luxury Spa Group’. In addition the brand also won recognition for their chain of urban spas by way of the ‘Continent Award for Best Urban Escape’, while Shenuka Fernando, the group’s head of service delivery was recognized with the ‘Continent Award for Best Spa Manager’.
The World Luxury Spa Awards annual awards ceremony was held this year in Russia, at St Petersburg’s at the State Hermitage Museum’s official hotel. These awards are acknowledged as the world’s foremost platform for recognising excellence in the global spa industry, which spans 140 countries and sets the benchmarks in quality, innovation and service for spas around the globe. It is established as the world’s leading awards initiative for luxury spas.
Speaking to media in St Petersburg, Shiwantha Dias, Managing Director Spa Ceylon stated that winning these global awards in Russia was a major recognition for the brand. “It is specially significant as we are currently expanding our brand presence in major Russian cities and also have an extensive list of new store openings across Eastern Europe”.
