Talo Urban Colombo (City Hotel) in Colombo 4 was launched recently with an investment of Rs. 90 million.
“Talo Urban Colombo Hotel is managed by Halloween Leisure Holdings. Very soon we are going to invest more than Rs. 2 million in Kandy for the Backpackers Retreat, said Prabath Seneviratne, Marketing Director, Halloween Leisure Holdings.
“Talo Urban Colombo Hotel contains 16 well-appointed rooms with all modern amenities. The rooms come with modern fittings and high quality touches. All the rooms are air-conditioned and other facilities include Wi-Fi in the hotel premises. Talo Urban Colombo has two suites and 14 standard Deluxe rooms,” he said.
“This month we are expecting an occupancy rate of 90 % and in December an occupancy rate of 100 %,” he said. “The hotel also boasts of a restaurant where guests can enjoy a variety of delights.
The restaurant can accommodate about 40 packs and the outside deck can accommodate about 10 packs. The newly opened De Vos Café has introduced two unique, delicious items to their menu with the introduction of Colombo’s Blackest Coffee (CBC) and the Nutella filled Kimbula bun.
These two items are very popular among locals and foreigners,” he said.
“The hotel is situated in the heart of Colombo, De Vos Avenue Colombo 4 and the main tourist attractions are the shopping malls like House of Fashions, Majestic City and a lot of popular Indian, Chinese and Sri Lankan restaurants, electronic and computer shops and malls like Unity Plaza, Telesonic,” he said.
“The specialty of this hotel is the unique location and comfort of a City Hotel,” he added.
