The Tamarind Tree Hotel, 5km drive from the Bandaranaike international airport welcomed the Aeroflot crew after their first flight landed last week in Colombo.
The hotel also offers a mix of chalets, suites and standard rooms.
Neville Rogers, General Manager of Tamarind Tree Hotel, said that they are now welcoming more tourists and occupancies are increasing.
