The Rainforest Ecolodge an alliance comprising of leading hoteliers clinched the PATA GOLD 2020 award under the category of - Sustainability Natural Heritage, as announced in a virtual ceremony held at Shanghai recently.
Rainforest Ecolodge, Chairman, Prema Cooray said, “We as an industry ventured on this project to showcase best practices in Eco Tourism and today our efforts have been recognized.”
“Enhancing the potential of Sinharaja as an Eco Tourism hub was the main goal of this initiative and we are delighted with this honour in further promoting this bio diversity hot spot to add to the rich profile of Sri Lanka’s tourism.”
