The ‘Ape Gedara Avurudu’ platform was initiated with avision to lift the spirits of andgive all Sri Lankans the opportunity to compete in traditional Avurudu folk games and rasa pena contests, while they were confined to their homes due to the pandemic-induced, country-wide lockdown.
