Continuing for the second successful year, The One Transworks Square (Pvt) Ltd., the developer of ‘The One Sri Lanka’ project, held its Sinhala and Hindu New Year Celebrations during the last week.
The fun frolicking event was added to the company’s event calendar as the most colourful event as both Chinese and Indian colleagues were given the opportunity to embark on the true Sri Lankan traditions and rituals. Thus, the event became the only Sinhala and Hindu New Year Celebration, where three nations, Sri Lankans, Chinese and Indians participated.
The event continued with many fun filled activities and traditional games, as it opened up the rare opportunity to embrace one common culture. The event concluded with a gala dinner hosted for all staff members and their families to appreciate each of their contributions and also their dedication.
The One – Sri Lanka comprises the iconic trio tower mixed development project housing the branded residences of The Ritz – Carlton Residences, Colombo and JW Marriott.
Minister of Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga was the Chief Guest.
