Due to the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the first responders, medical and healthcare staff, armed forces as well as other essential service workers, are faithfully devoting their time and energy to battle this deadly epidemic.
With the rapid increase in daily Covid-19 cases, there is a high demand for medical staff as they work long hours to treat the infected.
The armed forces have also played a major role in containing the pandemic by stepping up to the challenge and serving the country to the best that they can offer. The various essential service workers, from supermarket staff to pharmacists to delivery riders and more, deserve their share of praise for ensuring Sri Lankans are able to survive with less hassle and worries while staying at home.
In addition to the pandemic, the recent environmental catastrophe has also severely affected the country and the armed forces are at the forefront of the cleaning operations taking place on the beaches, as they clean the sand and remove debris and other pollutants from the surroundings.
“We, at Abans Group, would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to every single person on the frontlines, for their tireless dedication, unquestionable courage and admirable sacrifice. Thank you for your unending service and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic,” Abans said.
