The Airport and Aviation Services (AASL) donated Rs. 10 million to purchase a PCR machine and other equipment for the laboratory being constructed at the old hospital in Hambantota. This on a request made by Minister of Sports Namal Rajapaksa and State Minister of Aviation and Investment Zone Development D.V. Chanaka to the Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services, Major General G. A. Chandrasiri. Here Chariman AASL, is making the presentation in this regard to the Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi. Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga and other officials look on.
