Kingsbury Hotel Colombo, which was a terrorist target on Easter Sunday was opened for business yesterday, with a wedding function held in the hotel.
“We are open for business and most of our restaurants too are now opened,” said Managing Director of Kingsbury Colombo, Lalin Samarawickrama.
He said that they are also accepting bookings for rooms and rooms would be ready by Friday. “We have some minor repairs and those would be completed soon.”
Kingsbury Hotel will also receive Rs 25 million from National Insurance Trust Fund as they have been insulated from Terrorism insurance. (SS)
