Ayubowan Wellness Medicare Hospital opens in Colombo

Ayubowan Wellness Medicare Hospital operated by, Waidyasekera family of Galle, one of Sri Lanka’s leading and oldest Ayurvedic treatment families was opened in Colombo recently.

The hospital headed by its Medical Director, Dr. Chandana Weerasinghe represents the 11th generation of their medical lineage and they are also hoping to attract tourists.

‘Ayubowan Wellness Medicare Hospital’ has special treatments for skin spots (psoriasis), women’s deceases, piles, impotency, ill-fertility, fractures and cancer. The significance is the patient getting cured in a very little period.

‘Ayubowan Wellness Medicare Hospital’ also has hair treatments and treatments for skin diseases. For these, the hospital in addition to Ayurvedic treatments uses world renowned treatment methods. Thus patients can be rest assured of ridding their illnesses.

‘Hydro Therapy’ that is 6,500 years old method of therapy and ‘Ozone Therapy’ too can be obtained from the hospital. This will be a novel experience for Sri Lankan customers.

“The objective of opening this new hospital was to bring the age-old treatment methods of Waidyasekera medial lineage in Galle to fore. To treat some illnesses, doctors who have obtained foreign training are being used”, said Dr. Weerasinghe.
