The new British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Sarah Hulton, paid a courtesy call on Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama at his Ministry. The discussions were held towards further strengthening the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. Head of UK Trade and Investment for Sri Lanka and the Maldives Michael Fernandopulle, Chairman of the Board of Investment Eng. Mangala Yapa, Acting Director General for the Department of Commerce Nimal Karunatilake participated in the discussions.
