Sri Lanka welcomes tourists again

Sri Lanka has welcomed 2,439 tourists in July 2021, up from zero a year earlier, taking the total so far in 2021 to 19,337, under COVID-19 controls known as ‘bio-bubble’ data from the state tourism promotion bureau shows.

More tourists are expected with the launch of Colombo Russian direct flights.
