Bourse ends in red

Bourse ended marginally in red continuing the negativity for the fourth straight session mainly dragged down by HNB and JKH.

According to First Capital Daily Market Watch, ASPI witnessed a down trend throughout the trading session reaching an intraday low of 5,353 and recovered marginally prior to closing for the day at 5382, losing 4 points.

A net foreign out flow was witnessed amidst moderate foreign participation,

The secondary market yield also remained mostly unchanged while the overall market witnessed limited activities with low volumes.

Ahead of the weekly bill auction tomorrow, continued buying interest was seen on short tenures with following maturities were seen trading at their intra-day lows with 15.09.19 at 9.00%,01.11.19 at 9.10%, 01.03.21 at 9.90% and 15.12.21 at 10.00%. In addition, mid tenure 15.03.23, 15.12.23, 15.03.24 and 01.08.26 traded at intraday lows of 10.42%, 10.50%, 10.61% and 10.82% respectively.
