SriLankan Engineering standards reaffirmed

SriLankan Airlines, armed with several industry certifications of the highest recognized global standards, has positioned itself as the finest institution in South Asia for aircraft engineering Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) for all airlines in the region.

SriLankan Engineering recently completed an audit process for the EASA 145 standard, and now possesses EASA Part-145 certification to carry out Base Maintenance operations on Airbus A320, A321 and A330 families of aircraft of all airlines.

SriLankan Engineering also possesses EASA certifications for its Line Maintenance and Engineering Workshops, and authorization for certification of aircraft operating to BIA and Male International Airport.

Apart from its EASA Part-145 recognition, SriLankan Engineering holds third party maintenance approvals from numerous national aviation authorities including Singapore, China, India, Qatar, UAE and Bahrain. SriLankan Engineering also provides full engineering services for the entire SriLankan Airlines fleet, which is comprised of A320, A321 ( CEO & NEO) and A330 aircraft.

SriLankan Engineering’s dedicated A320 Hangar is now considered truly world class following its recent modernization.

It recently successfully carried out C-checks on Airbus A320 NEO (New Engine Option) aircraft recently inducted into the SriLankan Airlines fleet, and now has the expertise to carry out major maintenance checks on Airbus Industrie’s New Engine Option aircraft.
