The gala event was held recently at the Colombo Hilton Hotel. They have also obtained the agency to export compost under the brand name UNI GROW. Ocean Trade & Logistic has earned a reputation as the number one seller of the best compost that is ideal for the soil in the Maldives. The significance of this venture is the fact that Ocean Trade & Logistic brings in 100% foreign exchange by exporting a product manufactured with 100% local raw material. The manufacturing plant located at Dambadeniya has generated a large number of job opportunities to the villagers. In addition, the company grows and exports fruits such as pineapples and vegetables. Ocean Trade & Logistics’ business portfolio includes exporting and transporting Lime tissue, organic fertilizers, Alaella Tea, building material and all supplies for hotels and resorts.
