Following the conclusion of the first Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivity Awards, the country’s leading smartphone health and fitness app, ayubo.life, applauded the success of two of its clients, Hemas Holdings Plc and H-Connect Pvt Ltd at the ceremony.
Beating out a highly competitive field of numerous corporate heavyweights, Hemas clinched gold in the awards’ Extra-Large Company category while H-Connect secured gold in the Medium category.
“We are thrilled that our collaborative efforts with Hemas and H-Connect, two of the country’s leadingcorporate entities, have been recognised on such an eminent stage.
The awards presented to our clients reflect their commitment to health and wellness within the workplace as well as their willingness to take the necessary action to initiate change,” said Dr. Chamila Ariyananda COO and Director of ayubo.life.
The Sri Lanka Corporate Health Productivity Awards were organised by the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) in partnership with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETCO), with ayubo.life serving as its official wellness partner. The eventbrings together the country’s corporate community to raise awareness and encourage health and productivity management programmes at an enterprise level.
“Making the right choices where health and wellness is concerned has not been a priority for most employees in the corporate sector. Our research indicates that 35% of corporate employees have a high BMI with 47% being at risk of obesity. We understand that corporates require access to curative as well as preventive solutions instead of traditional wellness models. This has driven us to serve as principal wellness partners to Sri Lanka’s diverse corporate community. In this manner we hope to create a healthy environment for the entire corporate community,” ayubo.life Chief Operating Officer Dr. Chamila Ariyananda commented ahead of the awards.
