Keen investor interest for CCC Investment Business Conclave

Foreign Investors, already registered to take part in the upcoming ‘Sri Lanka Investment and Business Conclave 2017’ has shown interest in Agriculture, Export Manufacturing, Infrastructure development, Port development, Power and Energy, Telecommunications and Related Services and Tourism and Leisure.

Registered participants have also shown keenness to explore investment opportunities in sectors such as Distribution of Petroleum related products such as LPG and LNG, Recycling of Waste, Export Services, Apparels and Knowledge Services.

The conclave organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be held from May 30 to June 1, 2017 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo and is conducted in association with the Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Commerce, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Department of Commerce, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) and the Department of Commerce.

Sri Lanka’s Diplomatic Missions located overseas, 127 Chambers of Commerce, which the Ceylon Chamber has partnerships, International Trade Centre in Geneva, JETRO Colombo, World Chambers Network Paris, Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) and Beijing Lansing Overlook International Exhibition Co. Ltd of China is also supporting the promotion of the conclave across the globe. Organized for the second consecutive year, the event will provide potential foreign investors with an overall outlook of Sri Lanka’s Investment Climate and also make room for establishing links between both local and foreign investors taking part in the event.
