The Government has appointed former Chairman/CEO Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) Sri Lanka Jayantha de Silva as Chairman Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA)
De Silva is backed with qualifications from reputed world institutions, including the University of Washington D. C. He is renowned for his pioneering ICT industry leadership and stewardship over several decades.
De Silva received the ‘Most Valuable Employee Award’ consecutively in 2004 and 2005 from IFS, the Swedish publicly-quoted global company operating in over 50 countries.
In 2011 he was awarded the ‘Lifetime Achiever Award’ for his enormous contribution to the ICT industry in Sri Lanka.
