Hamoos Travels together with Bally’s Club, Colombo, brought over 1, 200 tourists from Hyderabad, India, on a special weekend package via a special charter flight.
Speaking on this promotional excursion, Bally’s International Marketing Vice President, Johny Perera said, “This is our first such tourism promotion. We hope to continue this and judging by the response, it was a runaway success. We will promote our packages in different cities in India every month from now on.”
“ Beside the two hundred and fifty passengers on the charter flight, another one thousand are arriving on other flights to enjoy this special packages. These tourists would be booked into all the Colombo star class hotels during their stay.”
Hamoos Travels, General Manager Mahesh Wanigasekara, said this tour was promoted in the Indian market for only a month. “The response had been very encouraging. We would be promoting this in all big cities in India and then offer these promotional packages to other countries in the region, such as China, Singapore and Malaysia.”
