Bank of Ceylon opens two branches in Uva Province and relocates Anavilundawa Branch

With the revolution of digital banking, offering a better and effective service to the customers, Bank of Ceylon intends to open two new branches in Uva Province in Uva-Wellassa University and Kandekatiya branches and re-locates Anavilundawa branch attached to Western Province -North with modern attractive appearances with spacious conditions, updated with technological advancements.

To enhance the quality and convenience regarding rendering of financial services with the modern advanced technologies to the students and staffs at Uva Wellassa University, the Bank of Ceylon, Uva Wellasssa Extension branch will commence its banking operations at University premises.

In addition Bank of Ceylon will open the other new branch at Kandeketiya area in order to render financial services with modern advanced technologies to the people around Kandeketiya area.

The official ceremony of opening is scheduled to be held on 27th July 2020 headed by the Chairman Kanchana Ratwatte and Acting General Manager D. P. K. Gunasekera with the participation of Province staff members, customers and well wishers in the area.

BOC Anavilundawa branch will shift to its new premise at Puttalam Rd, Anavilundawa on the same day, to enhance customer experience. The official ceremony of relocation, will take place on July 27, 2020 at the above new address.

W. Upali, Assistant General Manager-North Western Province will attend the ceremony as the chief guest and the event will be officiated by the staff members of the branch.
